Freight work needed one job reference that could connect the operational movement with documents, supplier charges, customer revenue, accounting records, and profitability without losing traceability.

   Define the commercial scope

   Capture the requested service, movement direction, routing, parties, terms, expected charges, and responsible team.

   Open the job file

   Create one controlled operational record that carries the shipment reference through the full lifecycle.

   Manage shipment execution

   Track bills of lading, containers, allocations, milestones, notes, and supporting documents against the job.

   Record supplier cost

   Convert operational charge lines into traceable purchasing and vendor-cost records.

   Bill and collect

   Prepare customer invoices, receipts, payments, statements, and related accounting documents from the job.

   Review profitability

   Compare revenue and supplier cost while reporting operational status, balances, documents, and job margin.

• I mapped the import and export process, including job direction, routing, shipment parties, commercial terms, bills of lading, containers, milestones, and documents.
• I developed the custom job, operation, container, document, cost-line, allocation, and reporting models and their Odoo views.
• I connected the workflow with quotations, purchasing, invoices, payments, receipts, vouchers, statements, and job-level profitability.
• I implemented access rules, attachment previews, PDF documents, Excel reports, and operational controls.
• I provisioned and deployed the Odoo production environment on AWS with Docker, PostgreSQL, Nginx, and controlled update procedures.
